Spider-Man Unlimited Strategy Guide, Tips and Tricks

Share

Taking all sorts of bad guys, beating Sinister Six, and fixing the dimensional rift! We've been tapping on it since last week's debut of Spider-Man Unlimited on The Apps Store. This Marvel superhero based endless runner game is rather glossy than being unique where you'll able to use different kinds Spider-Man version as you go on. Both newly updated Transformers: Age of Extinction and Spider-Man Unlimited, really blast with action packed schemes, and both are dressed with smooth graphics and great gaming experience, but Gameloft made a good presentation on Spider-Man Unlimited with its comic book style, unlike Transformers: Age of Extinction where it feels like watching the movie itself rather than playing it.

Anyway, let's cut to business already. We will help you beat the Sinister Six, fix the dimensional rift with our tips and Strategy Guide.

1. Do Long Combos During the Run

Like most endless runner game, doing long combos would benefit you a lot. In Spider-Man Unlimited, you'll a start a combo by running through the rings scattered throughout the level, and earn bonus points when you increase the combo. Aside from going through these rings, you will also able to gain these combo points by doing ?near-miss? stunts or narrowly dodging an obstacle at the very last moment. This tricky stunts requires good timing and precision (perhaps a "spider sense"), or else you will just screw your entire run. Master it by practicing, and for sure you will be performing combos like a boss. It also helps if you use a character that has bonus attributes like Battle-Damaged Spider-Man, it has ability to adds two to your combo instead of just one.

2. Learn Each Spidey's Abilities

Aside from wall-crawling and web-shooting, different Spider-Man has different abilities, as the example I mentioned earlier. The default one (the one you used when you started the game) has 15% experience bonus, so stick with it for the meantime to level up faster. Whenever you get a new Spidey, make sure to check it's abilities, this will be your advantage to know what kind of Spider-Man is suited for a particular situation. Other abilities includes 30% more score from running and 30% boost bonus for vials which is suited for dealing unlimited modes and farming. Another good thing about Spider-Man Unlimited, in this game you can use two boosts at the once in a single run by activating these abilities, unlike other endless runner game such Crazy Taxi and rest.

3. Boost Your Spidey by Ranking it Up

One of the factors to get a really good score is the multiplier. After each run, you will get a multiplier added to your base score. The power of the multiplier depends on your Spidey's level; means the higher your Spidey's level is, the higher will be the multiplier. And every time you use a Spidey it will gain experience and level up, but eventually hit their maximum. Each Spidey's maximum level depends on its rank indicated by the number of stars on their card, the higher the rank, the higher a Spidey's maximum level can be. If you want to rank them up, you need to fuse cards (an additional copy of the Spidey you?re trying to rank up and two other Spider-Men).  But be reminded that sacrificing cards will be vital especially for starters. For the first upgrade, it will only costs vials, but any after that costs ISO-8, the game's premium currency.

4. Gain Extra Experience by Doing Side Missions

After completing the second main storyline quest, you need to be a higher level to proceed. If you want to raise your level easier, the default spidey comes in a handy as I mentioned earlier. He'll be your main card in doing the main levels. You can also do the blue side missions if you need some extra experience. You can get more experience than just completing the endless mode.

5. Know Your Enemies!

In course, you are going to encounter two types of ground enemies: shielded ones and easy regular ones. I quote it as easy regular one because you can just easily get rid of it by either an up or down swipe, however shielded ones can be dispatched with down swipe. If you don't pay attention, you might end up busted with this. But here's a little trick, whenever an enemy is coming up, check if he is holding a shield in the right hand, if he does, this one is a shielded enemy so slide to attack. I might be difficult to figure out; the only difference between the two is the number of shield they are holding (regular ones got one shield while shielded ones got two for both hands). So make sure to be alert at all times.

6. Build Your Force and Do the Spidey Ops!

Once you gathered enough force make sure to do the Spidey ops. These are timed missions where you will deploy a squad of your Spidey troops to tackle a side tasks. Take note, the more and higher level of spidey troops you dispatch, the greater the chance to success the mission. You may be stuck with one at a time, but you will unlock more as you advance.  Make sure not to miss sending your spidey troops to ops mission before leaving the game, because these missions worth a good amount of experience and vials.

7. Save It for the Best!

Don't waste your ISO-8, save it for premium Spider-Men. Premium spideys are better than regular ones; they have higher score bonuses, higher maximum ranks and most of all some come with two abilities instead of just one. But these premium spideys cost a lot, so know your way to save your ISO-8, don't spend it on revives and mess with the rank ups so easily.

8. Don't Miss the Golden Enemies

By chance, you might stumble with a rare golden enemy during a run. Be sure to beat it down, as they sometimes drop valuable ISO-8. You will easily recognize them; they are shiny with a bright golden gleam.

This should be good head start. I hope this strategy guide will help you a lot. There will be lots of upcoming games in the future, so I guess I'll be seeing you around then. Until next time!

  2. Not knowing you need level 35 for the end of the Vulture stage?
you can make a 5 star character at level 10 that needs to be upgraded, but it costs 50 ISO-8 to do it.
