Shoot The Moon - Guide and Tricks

Share

The moon was never been so annoying, as it won't stop singing an orchestrated song, “In the Hall of the Mountain King...

Shoot The Moon is a one - tap arcade game that will make you furious over the moons profound appreciation of the classical song. The goal is to make the moon refrain from singing by sending off rockets towards it. However, the moon hates rockets as much as it hates you disrupting him, so, things won't go easily as you think. But don't worry guys, we are here to provide you tips and tricks strategy guide, so, let's get those rocket tanks fueled already and send the moon to bed.
1. 3...2..1. Blast Off!!

The more you hit the target the higher the score you will earn, like other shooting games, Shoot The Moon shares the same principle, so it's very important to set everything up and have a good shot before launching those rockets. Earned points will vary on the moons distance from your launching pads (tap area). Take note with the thin blue line at the top of the screen, this indicates the 10-point zone, the highest possible score you could get. To put it, the closer the moon to the top of the screen (any of its part is over that blue line) when you hit it the higher the points you will score.

2. Make a Spree and Get Bonuses!

Bonus Points

Let's make it simple, a double multiplier will be activated once you hit the moon 3 consecutive times with a 10-point hit. But it won't stop there, as long as you never miss a shot and keep the spree, you will gain 20 points for each shot. So, be careful not to break the multiplier or else you have to start all over again.

Extra Life

Gathered points from hitting the moon also scrolls the screen upward. You will see a dotted line goal marker, and with enough points, completing this goal lines will aid you a heart, allowing you to miss once and still continue playing. If you've been blasting the moon with a multiplier shots, sometimes you will gain a double goal, making you to pass 2 lives with one shot.

3. Little Red Devils

The moon hates rockets as much as it hates you for disrupting his classical concerto. After getting hit 5 times, the moon will be so unhappy, making it to summon a little red blob. Messing with these little rascals is not a pretty good idea, hitting one of these counts as missing. Therefore, avoid hitting them as much as you can or else it will be game over. Regardless of the distance, the moon does this every 5 shots, but on the other hand makes him slow a bit. While you can also get rid of these angry red things on the screen if you able to do double goals ( as I mentioned above). Getting this will destroy one of these bouncing rascals on the screen, so be prepared and aim for a good chance to take the shot.

4. Steady..Aim.. Fire!

Most of all, you must learn the mastery of timing. We're not in a hurry, just take your time and aim for a perfect shot since there is no time limit between shots. You need to study and familiarize the moon's movement. He will be bouncing around your screen, aim for the right trajectory and predict the moons position in a couple of seconds as he bounces towards different directions.

Anyway, if you can't help to miss a lot, it's okay, take time to dig in, what matter most is your enjoying game. Don't forget to visit us for more game updates, guides, tips and cheats or if you have any suggestions you can drop your comments below. Thank you for visiting.
